Lightweight and very well-finished, these 361° are designed for marathon runners and triathletes. We managed to test their trail running models, which also show genuine quality.
The 361° KgM2 2 are a beautiful object, you immediately notice the quality of the assembly and collages. These have to be taken into account in parallel with the reasonable price.
Putting them on seems pretty fast, even if the men’s model seems to be more difficult around the heel. The girls also tested the women’s model, here’s their review, which is a little different: https://www.test4outside.com/en/produit/361-kgm2-2-w/.
They have a narrow fit so people with wider feet should check out a different model.
The first surprising thing we noticed was that they are 8mm drop. It really feels like a flat shoe, we all betted it was 4mm, maximum!
Noticeable heel cushioning which is diffused under the forefoot. As soon as you strike with a mid-foot you find a much more solid foot strike, ready for speed. But you need to run with precision because otherwise the sole slaps a bit. They do make a funny noise up front even though the material is supple.
Strangely even though you are close to the ground the lateral stability is not as precise as we would have thought. Very flexible you can go anywhere, but it’s the runner who is in charge of the spring back, you need foot strike precision to go fast.
You can run for miles without your feet suffering because the foam cushioning protects your heel well and even though your forefoot is close to the shoe’s structure we didn’t notice any pressure points. The thin tongue does its job if you don’t tighten the laces too hard.
Lightweight, good cushioning, these 361° Kgm2-2 need to be run with precision, mid-foot or even better forefoot, to benefit fully from their design. They are a beautiful product, with exceptional craftsmanship.
