The Atomic Hawx Prime 105 SW are aimed at skiers looking for comfort and warmth. The inner has been carefully designed to be comfortable and cozy warm. The 98mm last provides good latitude in the metatarsal area.
The heel is well held at the base of the boot without wriggling around, which usually happens with intermediary boots. The toe box also allows your toes to breathe without any friction or compression. So this space enables your feet to stay warm.
The 105 flex is a good compromise between a shell that has no pressure points and the ability to ski more aggressively.
The hooks and buckles are easy to manipulate with gloves on. Although we didn’t particularly like the adjustment strap, which doesn’t stay in place.
The boot has a narrow form and sporty look, overall a beautiful product.
These boots are lightweight (1620g) so the combination of weight/reactivity is interesting for a female skier who prefers comfort yet doesn’t want to sacrifice performance.
