For several years Black Crows have built themselves a strong image as ski manufacturers who make different skis, both for the look and the shape.
This new model Camox, is lightweight and aimed at Freerando use (Freebird range).
Our first impressions of these skis have a firm and tense flex. Any off-balance at the front or rear gives the skier a rough ride and control on the edges in the turn is difficult to obtain.
They do not intuitively change the turn radius, you need to add more angle and they have a tendency to stay in their radius. Maybe we weren’t powerful enough. Physical size and strength are important criteria when choosing ski length.
