First impressions: a heavy ski to carry for its small size (tested). It has a classy look thanks to its racing-car style allure. Good metal reinforced tip. A performance ski that is twitchy, grips well yet remains accessible. Perfect for a skier who wants to be fast and furious. The other notable quality with this ski is its ability to vary its behaviour. The ski is flexible, you just load the tip a little to change the arc.
There’s no tip vibration, it sticks to the snow even though the ski that we tested was short – 174cm – nothing moves, even in choppy snow. The sensation of heaviness is quickly forgotten; the ski is lively underfoot with precise positioning that never gets stuck in a turn. A very good ski for going fast, but not only that it is also at ease skidding, even slipping. The tip never surprises by untoward catching. Excellent glide. Straight ahead is smooth and easily glides long straight lines. You can ski with a size shorter than usual.
