This hyper-protein bar is designed for during and after effort to help preserve muscular mass. It is composed of vegetable proteins, almonds, figs, apricots, Acerola cherries (from the Antilles, especially high in vitamin C) and agave syrup.
Micronutrients complete the nutritional needs during effort and in the muscular recovery phase. Magnesium, vitamins B2, B3, B6 and C reduce fatigue and lastly, sodium, phosphorous and iron. 13.3g of carbohydrates per bar.
The manufacturers advise one bar per hour during effort and one or two after effort.
What did we find during effort? First of all it is easy to open, especially on a bike, the packet rips easily and the bar comes out with one little squeeze. It has a nice consistence and is easy to bite. In your mouth it feels like you’re getting your energy! Effortless to chew and swallow, even if the fig seeds tend to stay behind and the fig taste is quite pronounced and sweet, but not overpowering – fig lovers will be happy. Slight acidity remains in the mouth but disappears with a drink. No digestion problems to report.
You feel the energy after eating this bar and don’t feel hungry. It’s a bar with flavor for those who like the taste of figs. Also sold in boxes of 10, 20.90€ or 20 bars: 38€
