This is a very powerful ski that can carry you far and fast on piste, we tried it, it does it, it goes hell for leather… What’s more it is pretty accessible, even when you can tell that the Fischer designers have put every piece of their worth in its concept.
On a wall, at high speed nothing flinches, its stability is at a scale of impressiveness we have never seen, including on hard snow. The only limit here is the skier…
The ride in the turn is fluid, really pleasurable but most noticeable is the stability. You feel totally serene, starting with an indefectible stable tip with no vibrations whatsoever. On piste balance is easy to find, it rides perfectly immediately.
Off piste the ski is less in its groove, it’s twitchier especially in the tip, with an unpronounced lift. The Fischer has less performance because its 80mm waist is more piste oriented.
So off piste you need a little more technical skill to manage the fore and aft balance. The Fischer skis with slight pressure on the heel and has very good rear stiffness. The ski’s manufacturing is well above average. As all the Fischer skis in this range it carries the FIRST Award without argument.
