If you consider the amount of sophisticated materials used in these
Head Kore 99, we expected to discover incredible skis in practice. After many hours of testing off piste in all types of snow, we found that they weren’t far off the mark.
They were comfortable, the dispersion of the flex is well calculated over the length of the skis giving them fluidity and good capabilities hugging irregular terrain.
Carving on compact snow, the curve radius produced can be open or closed with a little inertia: be careful choose the correct size.
In straight zones, like slopes going back to the resort, bumpy, flat pivoting, skidding or sliding these Head Kore 99 give precious handleability. These versatile skis are a good freeride comprise.
Kitted out with lightweight bindings, skiing freerando you won’t be disappointed either, they can easily be exploited in this domain as well.
The rather austere design makes it difficult to read the brand name and model..
We found that the glide was average, maybe they weren’t prepared correctly for the type of sole. NB care must also be taken with the skis’ finishing as it seems relatively fragile.
