We skied with the Helly Hansen Legendary trousers and the Helly Hansen Alpha 3.0 jacket.
We discovered the same extraordinary comfort that we found in the jacket. The very soft materials like Primaloft® and Helly Tech Performance providing softness and warmth.
The design, particularly at the knees, is very well conceived to respect anatomical movement.
We also loved the inner thigh ventilation protected by netting. But, like the jacket, the zips on these ventilation zones (and the trouser zip) are not waterproof. This is a shame because the rest is protected with a membrane. The pocket zips are waterproof though.
The trousers are designed for long legs, the waist too for heavier skiers, other less hefty skiers should use a belt. This is easily done as there are wide belt loops. Be careful when attaching the belt button, there’s a press stud and a sliding clip.
The base interior of the trousers is classically protected against knocks from ski edges. The added piece is not very wide but it does the job.
These Helly Hansen trousers are very comfortable because they are extremely soft material. Warm and stretchy you soon forget about them when out on the slopes and they are a reasonable price.
