We confirm the same manufacturing quality, the same care with the flat seam-stitching and nobility of the materials used: Merino wool.
Like the technical T-shirt, we appreciated the great thermal insulation, especially when you wear a pair of ski trousers without any insulation. So you have less problems with this heat input from the Icebreaker 200 Oasis Leggings at the end of the season or when you walk with the T-shirt of the same brand.
We really loved this well-cut and comfortable product. The leggings never interfere with movement and we did not notice friction or a feeling of over-thickness at the tibia and ski boots.
Merino wool is recommended for ultra-efficient thermal insulation. In general, it is a first layer slightly heavier than traditional technical clothing. But, the leggings have a lesser amplitude of weight (in comparison with the T-shirt).
Merino wool is less prone to the development of bad odors but remains a tone below in terms of comfort for people who are sensitive to wool: it is a tiny bit prickly, especially when you sweat.
The Icebreaker 200 Oasis Leggings are a very good product at ease in most winter practices that require efficient insulation: ski, ski touring, snowshoeing, mountaineering, etc.
