The Millet Switch GTX is a marvel of a shoe! We couldn’t find anything we didn’t like about them.
The upper is soft, with plenty of comfortable foam, likewise throughout the boot. Tough and extremely well made and the Switch is not heavy despite using quality materials.
The foot strike provides sensations close to fast hiking boots. The lateral hold on slopes is good and the ankle hold also remains solid.
Excellent jagged Vibram® sole that doesn’t hang onto mud. The forefoot is well protected from shocks and ground contact is excellent and confidence building.
Good waterproofing and the breathability is what you would expect from a standard Gore-tex boot. This is a product that you can have total confidence in for any circumstance that you find yourself in.
