The Dobermann SLR RB is designed for riding on the edges and carving at top speed. Here they don’t deny their prestigious Dobermann heritage, the brand’s racing skis.
Obviously carving needs no introduction with the Dobermann SLR RB, yet these also have a massive advantage to be able to put sideways in the event of an emergency, obstacle or if you need to slow down suddenly. So the skier isn’t a prisoner to the skis and their dynamic carving. You can come out of the radius whenever you like and easily go from carving to skidding turns (and vice-versa), you don’t need a lot of technique.
Once on the edges you can vary angulation to the extreme. The grip in this case is not as good especially if you are badly positioned, notably forward; they can let go.
The radius varies easily by putting on the pressure, but is still limited, you turn the factory diameter: 13m. The Dobermann SLR RB rides more using heel pressure, fore pressure is less energetic.
The skis are beautiful to look at, with high standard finishing and stunning design.
The Dobermann SLR RB are designed for sporty skiers with some technique, who love skiing short turns.
