This is a must have T-shirt. It has (nearly) all the qualities that you dream about for this type of product: breathability, comfort, quick drying, limited bad smells…
Tested over many weeks, it proved to be the ideal t-shirt for hiking but also for trail running and ski touring.
The first most noteworthy point is that bad smells are practically non-existent! We didn’t wash this tee shirt for several weeks, despite intensive use, and, truthfully the result is nothing short of miraculous. The antibacterial effect of the silver based fibres is genuine. It would be necessary to check in time after many washes if this quality remains.
The second major factor of this Cubic Light Tee is its comfort. Hardly any stitching and where there is they are delicate, flat and carefully positioned in places where rubbing is limited. The type of fibre and weaving technique perfectly suit the body hugging fit without being “tight”. The T-shirt fits snugly to your form without preventing freedom of movement.
We particularly like the ultra comfortable neckline, which leaves the neck free. The back zone uses a fine and very aerated mesh that accelerates the migration of sweat towards the next outer layer. Breathability of the Cubic Light has top performance and dries fast. Fine, light (3,35 oz), it is ideal for those hikes where you want to save on weight.
The labels do not irritate but some are a bit too long, we cut them off with scissors. All in all this T-shirt is a real favorite. The only critic that we could find is its relative fragility: be careful of the threads that catch on thorns. Wash at 30 degrees C.
