The Rossignol Experience 88 Ti are easy skis that go anywhere, with a facility to pivot, and put the skis sideways. This quality allows you to confront any emergency obstacle with ease, on or off piste: other skiers, trees, etc.
Obtaining the correct pressure for carving and skidding turns is easy because the tail doesn’t interfere. These skis are best ridden at moderate speeds. If you accelerate their behavior degrades the faster you go. Their grip on compact snow also isn’t as good: the Rossignol Experience 88 Ti instill less confidence. On compact snow the turn is relatively fluid, but it’s not what they prefer to do.
Even though over all the testers liked the tail, they would’ve preferred that it was more present for more demanding skiers.
All the testers did appreciate the way that the structure absorbed hard shocks from the terrain and didn’t suffer from vibrations in their joints.
The Rossignol Experience 88 Ti allows you to sequence short and wide turns. These skis cajole you, they are’t necessarily playful but they ski without effort. Their design is ok nothing very flamboyant.
The Rossignol Experience 88 Ti are very versatile for skiers who don’t want to push themselves too hard. Easy to ski, that do the job.
