We were able to test the new recovery product from Stimium. The benefits stipulated by the brand are: fatigue reduction, elimination of waste limiting physical performance and acceleration of energy production.
The Stimium MC3 formula essentially provides magnesium. The advised dosage is four sticks a day for an 8-day cure, in other words 250mg a day.
The other main ingredient is malate that you find in apples. This ingredient plays a role in producing ATP (Adenosine triphosphate), a component in producing energy.
It contains another interesting element citrine, which is notably present in watermelon, enables fast waste removal.
The sticks come in a box of 32, 10g each. Very practical to use, you just slide a few in your pocket. Easy to open and the packaging resist bangs and pressure.
It is recommended to take two sticks before and after effort. During recovery days take them at meal times. Of course it is a product that can be taken during competitions without risk of positive drug testing.
Of course the real question is, does it work? As for isotonic drinks, it is always difficult to gauge as each individual has a different organism that reacts differently, as well as exterior factors such as temperature, effort intensity, which carry other variables in the judgment. The Stimium MC3 is tasty (cranberry flavor). The gel is difficult to dissolve in water, so you need to shake it well. Straight up it has a surprising consistency.
