The sports bra is not just a detail it’s one of the major necessities in terms of comfort and especially support. The quality brand Zbra has attempted to resolve the problems of rubbing, and discomfort caused by bad support. We tested the Zbra Silver. Designed for high-intensity sports. We used it running and ski touring.
First impressions: unlike other brands, Zbra covers all size ranges up to 115 G, where other brands use the sizing S-M-L-XL, this enables much better precision. The size 90C corresponds to a standard undergarment sizing.
Very easy to put on thanks to the front opening. There are two systems together: a hook and zip.
There’s a thick fabric band between the zip and skin to avoid any rubbing.
The brand emphasizes its use of anti-irritation stitching that we found to be very efficient, because after many outings from an hour running to three hours ski touring, we didn’t experience any discomfort at all.
The shoulder straps have an adjustment system enabling you to adjust them to three different lengths giving optimum fit.
The adjustment can even be set-up to suit different types of sports; for example for running you can set it tighter for optimum support and ski touring a little less as the impact is much lower.
After long running sessions only the elasticated band retains any perspiration. The cups provide very efficient temperature control during exercise.
The shoulder straps are lined, the stitching maybe chunky but there is no rubbing whatsoever.
After three washes (at 30°C), the Zbra Silver technology remains untouched, only drying is quite long (without using spin dryer).
The Zbra Silver fulfills the expectations of women with large breasts or who wish to have optimal support in their sporting activity. It is perfect for high-intensity sports and trail running.
