The strap closure with a metal buckle, derived from racing, is present. Rossignol hasn’t forgotten the small loop for securing excess strap.
The buckles are very high-performing; they fasten very tightly. Aesthetically, nothing remarkable except for the blue/white/red reminder on the first buckle. Maximum efficiency, no frills.
Despite the presence of Thinsulate Stretch insulation on the front of the foot, we found that toes quickly got cold.
