The Rossignol Escaper 105 Nano is a freerando ski that offers a great balance of width and performance.
It is a responsive ski that can be skied at high speeds. It’s lightweight, which allows it to perform well in this wide category without hindering the skier.
It excels in almost all conditions. It’s extremely stable, regardless of speed or snow type. The tip features a medium rocker; Rossignol has opted for a larger tip rather than a long, early rocker. It doesn’t get caught in delicate snow conditions and floats effortlessly in deep snow. It does its job perfectly without being overly dominant.
You can ski at sustained speeds, whether on compact or deep snow. The tail is present, offering good response, but it’s not too assertive. It doesn’t require a high level of physical fitness or a particularly strong build.
In turns, especially in less supportive snow, the Rossignol Escaper 105 Nano behaves very well in the carving phase, particularly at the end of the turn. You always have control of your speed.
In compact or even hard snow, despite the width which adds a bit of inertia, the ski provides perfect stability, with a turn that just wants to flow. Drifting turns are easy to initiate. The light rear rocker also allows for small turns, whether in drifted or carved edges.
Its lightweight construction makes it a good choice for uphill ascents. The skin attaches easily at the tip.
In jump turns on steeper slopes, the ski responds very well when shifting weight: it’s very reassuring in steep terrain.
A ski perfectly suited for its intended purpose. Performance on all terrains, at all speeds. Accessible performance. Award First Test4outside.
