The Rossignol Hi-Speed Pro 130 MV is an excellent technical ski boot — precise, very stiff, and high-performing.In this case, the flex rating of 130 is no marketing gimmick — it’s the real deal, and it delivers exactly what advanced and expert skiers need, regardless of their build or body weight.
When you flex forward, you immediately feel solid support: the boot does not deform or distort, even under pressure. There’s no lateral flex or twist. Rossignol’s engineers developed the “Dual Core Carbon” technology, which integrates carbon fiber underfoot and along the sides for maximum stiffness and immediate energy transfer.
The Rossignol Hi-Speed Pro 130 MV comes equipped with GripWalk soles, offering improved grip and safer walking on slippery surfaces.
Comfort is certainly present, but make no mistake — this boot is built for precision first. The fit is excellent. The toe box offers a respectable amount of room for the toes, and surprisingly for a performance-focused boot, we didn’t feel cold in the liner — which is rare enough to mention. The last is 100 mm.
Closure and tightening are excellent. The buckles are powerful yet easy to operate. The upper shell across the instep doesn’t collapse when the buckles are tightened — another sign of solid design and construction.
A well-crafted, high-performance technical product. Well-engineered, well-finished, and efficient. Awarded a First Test4outside for its overall performance and its impressive blend of precision and comfort.
