This is the wheeled duffel we’ve been waiting for! The Osprey Transporter Wheeled Duffel 90 checks all the right boxes. For our use—carrying outdoor gear and photography equipment—the 90-liter volume is perfect. It holds everything we need without exceeding the airline “oversize” limits at check-in, which can be the case with the incredible but bulkier Osprey Rolling Transporter 120.
Another major advantage is the light weight of the Osprey Transporter Wheeled Duffel 90, which comes in at just 3,200 grams. That’s extra weight you can use for your gear while still staying within airline limits.
We’re very familiar with Osprey’s duffel bag chassis—it’s light, tough, and protective on the bottom. The wheels are robust, generously sized, and handle all kinds of terrain with ease. Even on sand, the sealed bearings don’t seize up.
This is also a bag that’s extremely user-friendly—no matter how you grab it, there’s always a handle within reach. The Osprey Transporter Wheeled Duffel 90 is cleverly designed. It even features straps to secure it onto a pickup truck, and every detail feels sturdy and well thought out.
This version is made of highly durable, water-resistant recycled nylon fabric that resists scuffing and wear.
The telescoping handle operates smoothly, and inside the bag you’ll find the usual compression straps. For better internal organization, you can add the optional Ultralight Packing Cube Set.
One feature we particularly appreciated: the name tag slot is only accessible from inside the bag, meaning no one can swap your ID tag or tamper with it unless the bag is open—great for security.
Lastly, the oversized central zipper is very easy to use and lockable with a padlock, offering both convenience and peace of mind.
