With the 361° Meraki 7, we find the Meraki philosophy once again: a versatile, comfortable, well-cushioned “feel-good” shoe designed for everyday runs.
This new 361° Meraki 7 stays true to that approach. The changes compared to the previous version are minor. After all, there’s no need to change a winning formula.
The mesh includes some recycled materials and does its job well in action, offering both breathability and comfort. The forefoot of the 361° Meraki 7 is relatively snug. Even though it’s not a racing shoe, it remains precise. It also feels easy to run in thanks to its fairly light weight: 282 grams in size 42.5, exactly the same as version 6.
The 9 mm drop remains unchanged as well (22 mm in the forefoot and 31 mm in the heel). The transition toward the forefoot is natural, and the ride is smooth. Once again, it shouldn’t be compared to performance-oriented shoes with aggressive rocker geometries.
The cushioning is very pleasant, offering both softness and precision. The foot strike remains stable: the sole strikes a good balance between comfort and ground feel.
The build quality is solid. The construction and materials are beyond reproach. The outsole grip meets expectations for a road shoe. Nice flat laces.
The 361° Meraki 7 is an easy shoe to run in—a solid “plug-and-play” option that remains affordable.
