An excellent women’s ski that we’ve awarded without second thoughts. The perfect tool for piste skiing. It is a very flat ski with a long sidecut. The tip doesn’t vibrate and performs brilliantly in every manoeuvre on groomed snow. You both notice its presence but also forget about it.
It’s a really pleasant ski that rides supreme. The Atomic Cloud Q14 grips like superglue on even the most daring angulations; but it is a ski that also knows how to “relax” the pressure.
The radius variations are very interesting although you must be a good skier to, but if you push it and vary your position, you always have the solution to get what you want from it. Above all, the Atomic Cloud Q14 does not slip. It is very safe, enjoyable, and fluid, the radius changes are excellent and it gives back energy at the end of the turn.
Does it have a limit? Very short turn radius on which we try to put it systematically on the edge by loading the front: it caves in a little. It has a beautiful construction and finish. The top sheet doesn’t get damaged quickly with use.
You can (you should!) go fast with this Atomic Cloud Q14 because it offers superb stability. In a straight line it tends to be a bit wishy-washy. In chop the ski absorbs the vibrations, and your legs don’t suffer.
A great ski that behaves well, it’s powerful but not dominant, it’s grippy yet fluid! It unanimously received the FIRST Award.
