The G7 is from the series of Redster skis and doesn’t posses the metal rods on the front. The black and orange give this classic designed ski an aggressive yet classy look. Redster G7 is much easier to use than its big brother.
The first noticeable thing is that it has less weight and a bit of inertia in the tip. The tip is beautiful with a rounded design and metallic cap.
In action the ski is quite facilitating sliding and skidding turns. Once on the edges it doesn’t like going into a turn, takes the turn and will ride a 16meter radius.
If you want to lengthen or reduce the radius it’s not so easy, it has a tendency to lose carving pressure and finish the turn skidding. Also with a lot of angulation on the edges it is still limited. You do need a faire amount of technical skills to be able to take advantage of the ski. That said its flexibility, ability to skid and its lightness does enlarge the range of skiers it is aimed at.
