This model from Beal is especially dedicated to sporty climbing, compact, light and comfortable, with well spread pressure distribution between the waist belt and the thighs. It is like a second skin harness. Perfect in single pitches, but less adapted to long routes, this is not a product that has been designed to stay in a hanging position for long periods of time. Accessories include 4 gear loops in molded plastic, well spread out to allow good and fast distribution of carabiners around the harness. A small ring at the back can be used to clip on a light load, a magnesium bag or rope.
The belt with a double buckle closing system is smooth, fast and easy. Its enveloping form follows your movement, but compensating for its lightness and comfort in the action the belt misses padding and aeration particularly when it’s hot, which in technical routes isn’t necessarily a handicap, you don’t drag out the long routes. A good harness for single pitches, at a very reasonable price.
