This Dynastar Intense 10 has a 15metre radius. Instinctively you’ll have a hard job doing short turns with this. If you make a mistake, it under-steers and it won’t turn. You need to be well positioned in carving mode all the time and it’s tiring to always ride on the edges. It whisks you away. It isn’t an enjoyable ride. We’ve marked it down because you’re always on the defensive in short turns. It’s not easy to get along with and vibrates.
Carving down easy slopes in large turns on the edges it behaves ok but as soon as you hit a steeper slope its behaviour becomes difficult. You must correct the trajectory but you are blocked on the edge. You notice a bit of a rocker too. Even the design is not very attractive; cream with brown flowers, for a women’s top of the range ski, it really isn’t alluring. But hey, tastes are personal…
