It’s the handy small pack you can use for anything. It can also be seen as an emergency pack that you slip into a cargo bag when traveling. The Häglofs Nusnäs 25 L is also useful in an urban setting. For example, you can slip a MacBook Air in the space initially intended for the water bladder (you lift up the zipped pocket located just at the entrance). For a moment we thought that the Häglofs logo was reflective at night, it isn’t. It could have been practical for night biking safety.
The Häglofs Nusnäs 25 L is practically waterproof, in any case it’s very water repellent. Its top closing system takes a bit of time, but it is reliable: fold the flap and pull on the two side straps. The pack doesn’t look like much, despite its light weight (less than 500 grams) and a very flexible back, you can carry a significant load over short distances. The foam padding is thick enough to protect your back from bangs. The straps are relatively comfortable to distribute the weight. The straps are relatively comfortable to distribute the pounds. The inside and edges of the shoulder straps are not at all harsh against your skin when using the Häglofs Nusnäs 25 L as a T-shirt.
The pack doesn’t stand upright on its base. But we did really like the large top handle to grab the Häglofs Nusnäs 25 L.
The waist belt is minimalist, but it fulfills its job to stabilize. It has the major advantage of being removable. When you use it, you don’t really know what to do with the excess strap (depending on your morphology).
The Häglofs Nusnäs 25 L is a very light and versatile pack. It’s not very technical but it can be used in multiple situations in the city as well as in the country.
