Rossignol AllTrack 130 Elite LT Boa GW

FIRST

Test of the Rossignol AllTrack 130 Elite LT Boa GW ski boot: sporting funky violet and pink colorways for a freerando boot, equipped with the BOA Fit System. It delivers all the hallmarks of BOA: micro-adjustable precision, effortless tightening, and an exact fit.

Entry into the boot is not particularly easy, even when opening the shell fully. Forefoot hold, however, is superb.Featuring a 98 mm last, the foot envelopment is precise—the BOA system scores big points here.

The Rossignol AllTrack 130 Elite LT Boa GW retains two cuff buckles equipped with a walk-mode release mechanism, which lock into a dedicated parking position during ascents in freerando mode.

At the rear of the cuff, we note a discrete walk-mode lever fitted with a small pull strap. This strap makes gripping and operating the lever effortless and is positioned high enough to avoid getting cut by ski edges when stepping out of bindings.

In walk mode with the buckles latched, the cuff range of motion is quite decent, though not as generous as when the boot is completely unbuckled. Fully opened, it unlocks a significantly wider stride range that is far more practical for ski touring.

The Rossignol AllTrack 130 Elite LT Boa GW features a great fit paired with a very accomplished, true-to-rating 130 flex—it drives almost like a pure alpine boot. We loved its ability to instantly transfer skier inputs and edge pressure.

The boot comes equipped with Low Tech tech inserts and GripWalk soles. The Thinsulate-insulated liner provides solid thermal protection; the overall setup was rated as comfortably warm.

Finishing quality on the Rossignol AllTrack 130 Elite LT Boa GW is high, and the boot remains lightweight. Its skiability-to-weight ratio is exceptionally compelling. Thoughtful details abound, such as the power strap’s angled, tapered end treated specifically to thread smoothly through the metal buckle. The liner includes a robust rear loop to assist with entry, alongside a turquoise cord pull loop on the tongue. The ski/walk transition mechanism is spot-on.

An outstanding boot that allows for efficient walking and touring with a clear freerando focus, above all delivering solid support, high precision, and downhill performance. A well-deserved Test4outside First Award for this exceptionally well-conceived, BOA-equipped boot.
