Rossignol Forza 60° TI

Tested in the 179 cm length with a 14-meter turn radius, the Rossignol Forza 60° Ti immediately demonstrates that its tail won’t catch or lock up during drifted or skidded turns. It is undeniably an accessible and relatively light ski that handles pivoted maneuvers and upright stances with great ease. It comes highly recommended for ski instructors, for instance—ideal for teaching comfortably all day while guiding clients through their first steps into carved turns.

The Rossignol Forza 60° Ti delivers solid responsiveness and a pleasing touch of energy, allowing you to carry good speed on edge. Despite being an adaptable and forgiving ski, it isn’t limited to novice riders: there is genuine substance underfoot. When you lean into sharp edge angles, it allows you to push angulation surprisingly far and holds its line well, provided you stay within reasonable limits. Naturally, on hardpack, its torsional rigidity shows some limitations—it tends to twist slightly, where the tail and tip engage while the mid-body gives a bit under force. Overall, however, edge hold remains very reliable.

It stands out as a well-rounded ski for riders wanting to push their progression and hold longer-radius arcs, all without feeling trapped when the slope steepens and they need to slip into tight short-radius pivots or skid out a turn. In that regard, it hits its design brief out of the park. It is progressive and engaging, particularly since its tip—while wide—is not as extreme as some of the higher-tier Forza models in the range.

On hardpack, even if you feel a subtle torsional flex, the effect remains minimal. Our testers genuinely enjoyed this ski.Acoustically, the Rossignol Forza 60° Ti produces a distinct, signature sound on snow, though it isn’t distracting in the slightest. Glide performance was rated as decent, though not extraordinary.

In carved turns, the Rossignol Forza 60° Ti tends to open up into longer arcs; tightening the turn shape requires a bit more technical finesse. To compress its turn radius, you need sufficient body mass, speed, and precise technique to drive forebody pressure—a stiffer boot with a firm flex helps significantly to load and flex the ski.

On the construction side, the topsheet features a nicely textured finish that makes carrying the skis comfortable and easy.It features a subtle metallic insert just ahead of the bindings, contributing to a high perceived build quality. Visually, the graphic livery takes clear cues from racing heritage, highlighted by a vibrant orange hue. Up front, integrated screw-on metal tip protectors sit flush so the tips won’t snag when crossed.

A solid ski that might not pack explosive race-level energy underfoot, but perfectly fulfills its core mission:offering confidence across various turn radius while helping skiers refine their carving technique. A very successful and thoroughly enjoyable formula.
