The Sea to Summit Lightweight Dry Bag Set has become a constant companion on our trips. We also use dry bags from other brands to secure our camera gear, personal items, headlamps, and more — but this set stands out for its usefulness and practicality.
There’s no groundbreaking innovation here, but some smart design choices make all the difference — like the white interior lining, which improves visibility and makes it easier to locate items inside the bag.
The three bags included in the set are lightweight and, of course, waterproof — as long as you properly roll down and secure the traditional closure system. Our only complaint concerns the plastic buckles: while they’re easy to close, they’re quite stiff and tricky to open, as the plastic feels overly rigid.
The set features the usual plastic loop for clipping the bags, but also includes an additional soft attachment loop at the base (rated to hold up to 15 kg), allowing for secure fastening to a bike, boat, climbing harness, or other gear.
Durability is more than sufficient for most outdoor scenarios. However, keep in mind that these are not designed for canyoning or extreme abrasion and prolonged submersion.
Lightweight and available in three colors and sizes — 8L, 5L, and 3L — the bags are easy to organize. We’re especially fond of the yellow and red options, which are quick to spot inside a larger duffel or backpack.
In short, this is a very practical, lightweight, and efficient dry bag set — offering reliable protection for fragile gear. A near-essential purchase for any outdoor adventurer.
