Nordica Enforcer 94

The Nordica Enforcer 94 is clearly geared towards freeride use, designed to navigate various terrains with a responsive ski.

It meets the requirements: stable, catering to the backcountry skier. The ski offers easy turn initiation due to quick and simple pivoting. Handling, whether skidding or sliding with the skis more or less flat, also poses no issues. The same goes for maneuvers in carved turns, although the effect from the shovel is less pronounced—it’s better suited for pivoting.

The Nordica Enforcer 94 leads according to its radius; it’s not necessarily easy to reduce its curve, unless one really angles aggressively. To get the ski’s tip into the trajectory, one needs to push it. The tail isn’t throwing the skier back but isn’t entirely passive—it gets the job done.

The sensations of varying turns are rather neutral. It’s a ski that doesn’t relay all the terrain information, which can be an advantage in terms of comfort and reduced fatigue. However, it lacks a bit of feedback for a technically skilled skier to truly enjoy piloting the Nordica Enforcer 94.

Its weight is relatively high, making the Nordica Enforcer 94 more suitable for nearby off-piste use and, in any case, limited elevation gain. To go farther and higher, one needs the physical ability to handle it.

The design is understated, simple. There’s a nice transparency effect in the structure: visible carbon fibers?

In less supportive snow, the ski maintains stability, is easy to manage, floats well, and imbalances between the front and back can be easily absorbed. It forgives well in both hard and soft snow. To work the flex, it’s better to have a substantial build for better variation in turning radii.

Overall, it’s a likable ski, accessible to many backcountry skiers who may not have a highly technical background and don’t seek a high-performance machine that provides intense sensations.
