This is one of the standout ski boots for winter 2026, featuring a dual-dial Boa Fit System.
Putting it on isn’t the easiest—your foot needs to slide in while the shell is opened wide. The Salomon S/Pro Supra Dual Boa 120 is quite surprising: once the cuff is closed, its flex feels closer to 130 than the stated 120. The Boa system delivers serious tightening power, assisted by a rather stiff cuff. It’s worth taking a closer look at this new mechanism. The cable operated by the upper dial can be disengaged. Once the dial is pulled open, a strap releases the cable and opens the cuff.
The two dials of the Boa Fit System offer powerful, precise tightening, with micro-adjustments possible. As always with Boa, it’s important not to overtighten—adjust the pressure gradually. While the closure isn’t necessarily faster than with traditional buckles, it does improve pressure distribution. There’s no crushing of the shell. Just make sure your ski pants have enough room at the bottom to fit over the dials…
On snow, the Salomon S/Pro Supra Dual Boa 120 delivers precise performance. It’s suitable for a variety of conditions, especially at high speed on steep slopes, where it provides strong lateral power transfer. Its design doesn’t scream high-performance, but make no mistake: this boot performs impressively for aggressive skiers.
The liner is warm—you feel the heat quickly, and you may start sweating sooner than expected in this boot. Foot hold is solid overall. In our opinion, this model leans more toward performance than precision. The fit suits medium to narrow feet, with a very snug heel hold.
The power strap is excellent. The outsole provides good grip on most surfaces, though it’s not GripWalk-compatible.
The liner’s tongue can be adjusted in height using Velcro. Unlike some Atomic liners, this one stays firmly in place. The liner also features two straps that make it easy to remove from the shell.
