The Q36.5 Dottore Pro Research Scientist Jersey is designed for riding in hot conditions. The fabric used provides excellent ventilation and highly effective moisture transfer.
We immediately noticed that the Q36.5 Dottore Pro Research Scientist Jersey runs small. Of course, for aerodynamic reasons, it is intended to fit close to the body, but riders with a more muscular upper body — such as triathletes — may want to size up.
Comfort is generally very good. The fabric follows body movements naturally and fits closely in an aesthetically pleasing way. The neck area, however, where the zipper rises quite high, could be slightly more comfortable. The jersey does not ride up at the hips. The traditional three rear pockets are practical and efficient, while a fourth side storage compartment with a zipper allows small items to be secured safely.
The zippers glide smoothly, including the main front zip. We would perhaps have removed one or two flat seams on the back to further improve comfort.
The jersey was tested together with the Q36.5 Dottore Pro Bib Shorts.
A very good cycling jersey for hot-weather rides and long-distance outings.
