The Blizzard Zero G 95 is the pleasant surprise of the 2025 ski touring test. It continues the tradition of the Zero G series, which was already well-developed.
We preferred it to the Dynastar Vertical because the Blizzard has very little inertia in the tip; it feels incredibly light, yet it’s solid in its structure. Light, the Blizzard Zero G 95 still offers excellent performance in turns. It’s not a ski that oversteers, you don’t need to force it or overthink your movements to maintain the turn. It enters the curve easily, it can drift, and it performs well in all raised stances.
What stands out with the Blizzard Zero G 95 is its edge grip, which is excellent and reassuring. You feel confident on it, knowing you can rely on the ski. There are no surprises; the tip grabs, it helps with the turn, and immediately the ski supports you—it never gives way and remains smooth.
We liked this ski, especially its ease of entry into the turn, with a good edge length. On steep slopes, it responds well.
You can ski it with good angulation without any issues, applying pressure on the edge with some technique, though this isn’t its main focus—it’s more of a bonus.
Compared to the previous generation, this Zero G feels more energized, more responsive, more grippy, and more solid on the edge.
We really liked the raised tip, which helps with absorption. Unlike many touring skis, the Blizzard Zero G 95 hardly vibrates at the front. It delivers a pleasant smoothness.
A ski that is very comfortable on most terrains and in a wide range of conditions, especially on hard snow and in challenging zones… Award First Test4outside.
