We were able to test the Compressport Performance Overshort W on shorts in trail running mode, an effective and well-designed product.
The Compressport Performance Overshort W are very comfortable to wear, they are short shorts, your entire legs are exposed.
They are held at the hips because the top doesn’t tighten around the waist, probably so as not to hinder breathing and digestion during exertion. This support is effective, the Compressport Performance Overshort W, don’t move during the session.
The design is sober and classy. It goes perfectly with the black Performance SS T-Shirt W.
The same as on the Compressport Performance Skirt W, there are two side pockets: 16 cm by 9 cm. These slots don’t have zips so be careful not to lose anything. In the test, an iPhone XS held perfectly in one of the pockets. A 500 ml flask is unfortunately too big to sit comfortably (too heavy too?). Could a full-length pocket on the back have been an interesting option? This is certainly the only downside to these shorts.
Ultra-fast drying and odorless, after five washes the Compressport Performance Overshort W keeps their shape and hold, it will be necessary to check with use whether they deteriorate or not. The brand’s name flocking stays the same.
The fabric on the front is lighter and more fragile than the fabric on the back part of the shorts. Be careful not to catch them on branches or bushes at the front. The back fabric is thicker with a darker black color.
The seams inside the shorts are narrow, no signs of chafing during the Compressport Performance Overshort W tests of up to 1h45 of physical effort.
The Compressport Performance Overshort W can also be worn over compression-type shorts as over-shorts.
