These Dynastar skis are Mythic Light 97’s little brother, slightly less wide (87mm). They basically have more or less the same qualities. Easy to ski, playful and immediate turn initiation as soon as you tip onto the edges.
You can choose the radius of your turn. You load the tip and the ski follows the loop. You unload and remove the pressure: and the turn opens out.
You will be able to take advantage of the easy handling of these skis, floatability and pivoting skills on ungroomed snow. They are especially fun for weaving in and out of trees.
In more open terrain these characteristics become a brake for the stability needed to ride with confidence at high speeds, they behave promiscuously.
They are light and the width targets ski tourers looking for a ski that pivots easily whilst at moderate speeds and fun in all types of terrain in the descent.
NB, a powerful skier should not choose a pair too short.
Positive Points: Playful, easy to pivot, great in short and medium turns, good carving skills, good cushioning in all types of snow.
Negative Points: Limitation in performance at high speeds for powerful skiers (and take long skis).
The Dynastar Mythic 87 win our FIRST Award, the best skis in their category. Easy in all circumstances and all types of snow, you can attack any slopes, in total confidence.
