A new free touring ski 2019! A fabulous product that you can use anytime, anywhere!
These are quite wide skis, 89mm at the waist and are easy to handle. Pivoting is easy even if you’re weight is a bit far back, for example because of a back pack, the tail never gets stuck in the turn.
The front of the ski is lightweight, which is both good and bad; no inertia but sometimes you can over twist the turn. When the terrain is tracked or hard it’s better to add pressure. The best part is their ability to vary the radius.
Great grip on hard snow and they slide almost naturally onto the edges. The turns are fluid and you can ski very fast as long as you charge the front a bit.
Off piste pivoting is fun. The tips lift out fast and float well and the tail is in harmony. With only 1230g of weight you don’t need too much sweat to get them up the hill and enough reassurance to have fun on the descent.
Good torsional twist on hard snow. The Carbon Tex construction; combination of Diagotex and Carbon Stringers, is visible through the transparency of the finish.
Last and not least is the exceptional glide, no doubt due to the quality of the sole of the skis and the quality care of their manufacture in the Fischer factory.
