When we received the FW Manifest Tour Hybrid Pants PFL, we wondered what this product could be used for, which we classified in the category underwear corsair lined with warm shorts. Everything is made from recycled Polartec Alpha.
We very quickly realized that this product was awesome, because once you’ve tried it, you will never stop wearing them! They are indeed multi-purpose and can be used for a number of activities. They were originally designed to be worn under protective ski pants where they work wonders: they keep the lumbar region, thighs and lower legs warm. FW made sure not to make them too long as ski socks could cause extra thickness or creases.
Ideal for skiing with protective pants that are cold, the FW Manifest Tour Hybrid Pants PFL are also awesome for trail running in very cold conditions (very nice for keeping your thighs warm). Then you have a classic “boxer out training” look. We ran in the snow, although they aren’t water repellent and they absorb moisture, we didn’t get cold.
The FW is also really nice to wear for stretching sessions, weight training, or simply for chilling out. If we weren’t careful, we’d wear them all day!
Their success is due to the softness of the Polartec fiber, the fact that they dry quickly, and are flexible and warm. Last but not least, they don’t smell.
However, there are two (slight) downfalls to these FW Manifest Tour Hybrid Pants PFL: they weigh 435g in size M and the waist’s drawstring can disappear into the eyelet (just make a knot at the ends).
Without hesitation, these FW Manifest Tour Hybrid Pants PFL won the Test4outside FIRST Award. This hybrid product made from recycled Polartc Alpha is very comfortable and warm and can be used for a number of winter activities. It’s a must!
