The Gorewear Concurve Windbreaker is a lightweight, water-repellent windbreaker. It’s designed for trail running and endurance sports that elevate your heart rate. It protects well against wind and light rain, but it’s not a full waterproof shell.
Wearing this jacket is genuinely enjoyable. The inner fabric is incredibly soft, making it comfortable even when worn over just a sports bra or a singlet.
The breathable fabric doesn’t cling to damp skin—it wicks moisture effectively and dries quickly.
It’s also stretchy, conforming to your body shape and adapting to base layers underneath while offering complete freedom of movement.
The Gorewear Concurve Windbreaker is equipped with a two-way zipper, allowing for ventilation control and preventing the jacket from flapping in the wind. The zipper is backed by an internal fabric flap, which protects base layers, your skin, and your chin from rubbing against the zip. While the zip can occasionally snag, it’s still of good quality and made of plastic, keeping the jacket light.
Both side pockets feature the same type of zip. They are deep and wide enough to easily fit a GPS watch or lightweight gloves.
The sleeves are finished with an elastic band that prevents heat loss while still allowing you to wear a watch or push up the sleeves if needed.
The collar is made of a wide, double-layered band that protects the neck well and stays upright, despite the lightweight fabric—thanks to the added thickness.
The hem can be adjusted via two drawcords on either side.
The Concurve Windbreaker is extremely light, very compact, and easy to pack.
One minor drawback: the fabric is a bit noisy—when your arms brush against the body, the friction creates some sound.
Overall, the Gorewear Concurve Windbreaker is a light, water-repellent jacket ideal for trail running, road running, hiking, and other outdoor activities. It’s well cut and very comfortable to wear.
