As much as the Häglofs L.I.M Hybrid Touring jacket didn’t win us over, the pants are worth considering for ski touring.
The highly stretchy fabric is impressive in action: it truly follows movements well. It effectively blocks the wind. Its thinness and (relative) breathability were appreciated. The key word: comfort.
The cut is relatively close to the body, but you can easily wear a base layer underneath. Without a base layer, the contact with the fabric is pleasant.
All zippers are waterproof (except for the fly). As is typical, the Häglofs L.I.M Hybrid Touring Pants have two zippered openings on the thighs for ventilation.
At the back of the legs, at the bottom, a zipper makes it easier to pull the pants over the boot collar. Häglofs has also added a drawstring, was it really necessary?
The Häglofs L.I.M Hybrid Touring Pants rise quite high in the lumbar area. The waistband has no hard points, and it adjusts easily with two powerful Velcros. There are no loops for the possible addition of a belt. Is the interior of the gaiters durable with the multitude of ski edge impacts?
An effective hiking pant, very comfortable, windproof, and waterproof.
