Before heading out for a run in the Odlo Essential Seamless Long Sleeve, it is worth removing the collection of attached tags for maximum comfort. The soft plastic label positioned at the back of the neck, however, is completely unobtrusive and causes no discomfort.
The first thing that stands out is the comfort. The combination of polyamide and polyester works exceptionally well. The Odlo Essential Seamless retains its shape while still allowing complete freedom of movement. It dries quickly and offers good resistance to abrasion. Over the long term, it will be interesting to see how it withstands repeated use with trail running backpacks, particularly in areas exposed to friction around the lower back and waistband.
Very pleasant to wear, the Odlo Essential Seamless is particularly well suited to cooler conditions when the air starts to feel crisp. The fit is relatively relaxed. Sleeve length is generous, easily covering the arms and fitting comfortably over a large GPS watch. The collar, sleeve cuffs, and hem are all free from excessive thickness, contributing to an overall feeling of softness and comfort.
Moisture management is highly effective, and the fabric remains exceptionally breathable during activity. It would be a mistake to limit the Odlo Essential Seamless to trail running alone, as it is equally suitable for a wide range of outdoor activities. Its reasonable weight also adds to its appeal, with our scale showing 145 grams.
The Odlo logo on the chest is reflective, enhancing visibility in low-light conditions.
The garment is constructed from multiple fabric panels with no noticeable seams against the skin. The result is a particularly successful balance between breathability and controlled warmth during exercise. A dependable performer and a safe choice for outdoor enthusiasts.
