The Rossignol Sky 7 HD is very technically apt on its edges and carving in general. It is easy and enjoys a bit of speed. It’s lightweight and loves deep snow. We liked the tip design.
It feels stable in all situations with good edge grip on hard snow. Displays confidence and security especially in initiating turns. You can go fast safe in the knowledge that the ski is trustworthy.
You need a bit of dynamism to pivot both on the flat and on the edge, but it isn’t a problem.
Off-piste it is slightly penalized in its ability to lift out of deep snow but it remains very stable at high speed. It is comfortable in choppy snow and keeps its line with confidence.
It’s not designed for playing with turns like its big brother the Soul, but it is more polyvalent.
