We tested and thoroughly enjoyed the Scott Neo LS ski goggle, which feels exceptionally light on the face at just over 120 grams. The standout feature is its lens, tested in the blue/fuchsia tint. This color proved particularly effective in bad weather, boosting contrast and overall clarity. In short, terrain details are sharper and vision becomes significantly clearer,especially during whiteouts and low-light conditions.
The Scott Neo LS adapts well to varying light levels thanks to its photochromic lens, spanning Category 2 to 4 protection.Its main limitation occurs under bright, direct sunlight. However, as an all-around everyday goggle, it performs its mission flawlessly. The field of view is wide, with the frame edges barely visible in your peripheral vision.
The Scott Neo LS is silent in operation, producing no creaking sounds when tightening the strap. It adjusts easily over a helmet and stays securely in place. The multi-density facial foam is comfortable and well-shaped, particularly around the nose bridge.
While the design may not be the most flashy or futuristic, the overall look is clean and well-executed—featuring classic,precise lines that are 100% functional. The only stylistic flourish is found on the strap.
We especially appreciated the plastic frame wrapping around the lens perimeter, which protects it from impacts and scratches.
The Scott Neo LS is highly resistant to fogging, thanks to generous top and side ventilation. It comes supplied with a soft microfiber bag and is also available in a compact version for smaller faces. We tested it alongside the Scott Element Pro Mips helmet.
