This is a ski that is a 100% piste only and for going Fast to Very fast in long turns on groomed snow. It isn’t an extreme ski, it’s actually very pleasurable and despite its “racing” look it isn’t as demanding to ski as you would think. The first nice surprise is its ease at skidding a turn.
The second is its ease at initiating a turn. Next, biting the edge with a little angulation is also a breeze and the ski carries you into an ultra stable turn. It cuts through the snow like a train at top speed. The tip stays still and even better, the tail has no surprises.
The real surprise lies in the fact that you can vary the radius, but pay attention because everything happens fast with the Redster. The grip is great. On the forefront of the ski there is a metal rod, the Servotec.
It gives the design a super look; how efficient is it we wonder? It would be necessary to try the ski without it and compare…
It’s without doubt a superb performance ski reserved for good technical skiers who have the physical capability and balance to pivot it. It does of course win the FIRST Award.
