An expanded polystyrene helmet that envelops and adjusts perfectly to the users head. It descends well behind the back of the head above the neck, even if it still isn’t enough, an important point in the event of a fall whilst turning because it is the back of the head which hits.
But this is a detail that is difficult to manage on all helmets, brands have to find a compromise between comfort, a difficult balance because if the back drops too low you create a rubbing point on the neck, particularly noticeable when you are belaying with your nose to the sky watching your partner. It is a model with lots of good points, very good ventilation, lateral and rear, a magnetic chinstrap closing system so you only need one hand to fasten it… you need a bit of practice to get the hang of it.
Extremely light and easy to adjust with a simple dial at the back; just keep an eye on the wear and tear of the plastic over time. For mountaineers, four strategically placed hooks for the headlamp. They keep the headlamp well fixed during activity. All this with a nice range of colors and excellent price/quality ratio, a perfect companion for long routes, that quickly becomes forgotten.
