The brand DMD is more famous in the motorbike world. They also offer a sleek range of helmets for snow sports. We tested the No Regrets.
What we noticed first was the lightness of this helmet (365g) and the absence of inertia because there is no visor. It is snug fitting and not bulky. It is instantly comfortable and envelops the head well, staying in place without any pressure points. We only noticed a slight bit of pressure at the back of the head so avoid overtightening the helmet, maybe subsequent models could do with having a piece of foam in this area… But the feather lightness of this No Regrets helmet really helps with the comfort.
Adjusting the fit around the head is perfectly executed with a twist of the button.
Ventilation is limited at the rear and so we think that during spring skiing you would quickly get a little hot, but in the depths of winter it is perfect for keeping you warm.
We really appreciated the ear protection, as it is both comfortable, warm, and doesn’t affect audition.
The absence of a visor enables you to hitch your goggles on top of the helmet and wear sunglasses if you want to.
The system for blocking the goggles strap at the rear of the helmet it simple, fast, tough and efficient.
The chin strap is also classic, practical and fast.
This is a great helmet with a funky colourful look!
