We were hoping that the wide Legend 96 all mountain ski would be more versatile and more stable in all types of snow.
We had difficulty finding our balance, the tail isn’t very reactive and the tip is more flexible so you need to “learn” to ski it to find your balance. We were thrashed around a bit in choppy snow.
On piste it’s a different story, with tight turns. It provides good grip and its behavior is excellent. It feels very safe. The initiation into the turn isn’t automatic but it is fluid throughout the curve for a ski of this length and you can accelerate.
You can change the radius of the curve during the turn but you need good technique to carry it off. It is meant to be a ski 50/50 piste and off piste but it only holds true for half of it.
We used this equipment over a long period of time
