We spent the winter in the snow testing the Izipizi Horizon sunglasses.
After this extended field test, we can confidently vouch for the durability of these shades. The frame—especially the arms—lets you rest them easily on your head, and they stay firmly in place on the face. They’re best suited for narrower face shapes.
The build quality also makes the Izipizi Horizon suitable for water-based activities. They’re also a solid pick for cycling or ski touring, thanks to their resistance to sweat—salt marks are minimal on the lenses. Moisture tends to slide right off the surface.
The polarized category 3 lenses provide reliable protection in most conditions.
The design is clean and streamlined, with no unnecessary frills. They come with a soft cleaning pouch, and the weight on our scale came in at just 26 grams.
At €70, the Izipizi Horizon may have a minimalist look, but it offers surprisingly solid performance. On top of that, it’s built to last.
