The rainbow colors give this ski a girlie aspect with a feeling of freedom. All our testers loved them.
The Alluvit is an all-terrain ski with nevertheless a preference for off piste, except if there is very deep powder. But in all types of snow and terrain, choppy, bumpy, and forests, the K2 is really fun to ride.
On piste it’s easy to carve both on small or wide turns, but, once you want to do long turns on hard snow the edges hold on with less vigor.
Going from well-groomed snow onto ice needs careful attention from the skier as it doesn’t react very fast.
At slow speeds, it is at ease doing short or long radius, if you are not on the edges.
Its design with two Titanal sheets gives it good rigidity. The tip and tail are quite flexible which enables tolerance and its ability to go anywhere off piste.
In powder, it lifts out fast but is nevertheless limited in this domain because of its 86mm waist.
The K2 Alluvit is a great ski for a woman who is looking for a ski to use anywhere but that isn’t top notch performance in carving.
