A great ski in terms of ski-ability, that really requires a good level of skier to benefit from its full potential. It is very stable, holds fast to the snow. It gives you the impression of having very long edges. It provides a deep feeling of serenity especially off-piste and in choppy snow conditions where the ski filters the vibrations.
The lifted tip has been very well designed to enable you to attack lumps and bumps with tranquility.
Fluidity on groomed pistes comes from a certain level of skill to keep it from blocking on the edges when carving with the danger of over-steering. A little effort and pressure to deform the ski brings out the best in it.
The torsional rigidity is less than its big brother, the Ikonic 84.
The grip is good without being exceptional; it needs pressure and angulation. The radius is long carving turns but satisfactory.
The torsional rigidity is average; you can feel the ski moving with the terrain without losing grip or having any unwanted sensations.
It’s a good all mountain ski.
