Like the LCF Appalache we’ve already tested, the LCF Nepal has been part of our outdoor gear lineup for many seasons.
Originally designed for trail running, we’ve also used the LCF Nepal for fast hiking and even daily wear.
It’s a much thicker sock than the Appalache and features no compression. However, it still delivers excellent support thanks to its sophisticated knit and anatomical mapping, making it a true technical sock. Different zones—such as the instep, heel, and Achilles tendon—are specifically engineered to reduce friction and enhance breathability.
This high-performance sock is made to handle long distances and big elevation gains. Its low cut, just above the ankle bone, might come as a surprise. The inner fabric feels soft and comfortable against the skin.
With proper care (machine wash at 30°C), the LCF Nepal—made in France—is built to last. Its price is very reasonable for a sock of this level of technical quality.
