The PROPERO 3 helmet for women can almost be considered a city fashion accessory. It is an adaptation of the famous S-Works Prevail, designed for moving around town and much more.
It has a very pretty design and selfies are no longer shameful to take!
But a part from its glamorous look how does it fair in the action, on the road or in the fields?
Strap adjustment is easy, the material is soft yet therefore a little slippery… But remember this isn’t a competition helmet.
For the first use the straps were blocked in the TriFix system at the rear and so was difficult to put them back in place. Once the helmet is in position you feel the inertia at the front. The helmet weighs 260g without the visor and 275g with it. (It is noted as 285g.)
Used in hot conditions we noticed that the ventilation could be improved, the foam is thick but not very absorbent.
Surprisingly there are no reflective stickers for nighttime use, which is a shame. We tested the white model but it also exists in fluorescent pink, which would be more visible.
Very practical for girls with long hair, there is a space between the helmet and the adjustment straps to poke your ponytail through. (The Hair Port System).
The summary is a little mixed. It is a good helmet for daily urban use and not for long outings or competition. The positive aspects are: its style and ease of use.
